I think that its stupid and slightly insensitive for my group members to push the idea od advocating an underage club in SIngapore for our group. Especially since teh content for this assignment is not assessed but the speech is. Yes, you may call me a hypocrite for acting supportive of the idea till now but i did try to change it...not hard enough..
It is this feeling of guilt inside me because I will be standing in front of the LT (even though it is not full) wearing my hijab and talking about opening an underage club. Yes it is all an act but me doing so already has an impact on my identity and representation as a Muslim. Do NOT preach to me about what I shoul dhave done. It is going to be over so whatever...I will deal with being a hypocrite and not putting in much more efoort to counter the situation in the first place.
It's just driving me nuts that I have to do it.
