Hi everyone! I know I've been gone for some time...and you may have thought that the site was in a semi-abandoned state and *points up* the sign above is a teeny wee bit late..so all of you probably deserve an explanation and a HUGE apology....

SORRY!!=(

I've always thought that the site was dull in black but I never got to revamping it fully and for good...ya...the old site was always meant to be temporary. I wanted to come up with something new and fitting to the brand name. And (I think it's a pride thing) I wanted to do the site up all by myself.

So this is the toil of 2 weeks of designing and learning html and it's my current pride and joy (until the postman sends my driver's license to me that is...=D) It will probably take another 1-2 weeks for me to make more accessories, upgrade my pictures' quality and email the newly designed newsletter *yay* (and that's when most of you will be reading this)...

I hope everyone likes all the changes I make and am making. Email or tag me if you guys have any comments- good or bad okay? =)

Hello hello hello! Hey guys! I'm Rafidah, though most of my friends call me Raf for short. Well what about me? I'm currently an undergrad studying *hearts* psychology and I'm a serious wire addict. I feel like I have withdrawal symptoms if I don't feel some wire for more than a month.

I'm based in Singapore and although selling jewellery is the best hobby I've ever had - other than reading=), I sell other stuff too! I sell used and unsued items on Yahoo! Auctions for myself and my friends. Seriously? I think I have an addiction problem to selling stuff -ever since I started switznwaiyers!

switzNwaiyers was created in June 2007 after I completed my A levels. My mother was then into the Swarvoski crystal craze and she was the one who got me started with crystal beading. I opened switzNwaiyers because I'm not a jewellery sort of person but I love making them and I love seeing people wear them even more! So rather than keeping all my handcrafts to myself, what more better than to share it with the world?=)

I started off with gardening wire and mini glass beads and now I have found great bead shops online and offline and many seriously good books and friends online who share the passion in making accessories annnnddd I am definitley improving in my skills not only in beading and wiring but in photography and photoshop as well as html! Having gotten this far, and seeing my shop and accessories getting better, I hope that despite my heavy and crazy schedule I'll be able to keep this up for a long time.

To all the people who have been supporting me from the start, thank you so so much. And to all of you who've just found this blog, trust me, from here on it only gets better=) Thank you for visiting the site and feel free to drop me a mail regarding anything and everything=)


PS: Want to know a secret?(Noone knew this before I posted this here): I like wiring A LOT because I wore braces before and I find wiring kind of like an obsession based on overseeing the wiring process of my teeth. All the better when I can wire 'diamonds' right? Hehe!
